Public Vote Postponed

Considering the current pandemic and the advice being given by various county, state and federal health and emergency management agencies related to “social distancing” and public gatherings, the Henrietta Fire District has decided to postpone the public bond vote for the Station 6 project originally scheduled for March 24th.  The health and welfare of the public and all those involved in working the polls is of paramount importance to us, therefore the peace of mind is well worth a slight delay in the project schedule.  We will continue to monitor the situation and put forth a new resolution for the bond vote at a future public meeting once things have stabilized.
Your volunteer and career firefighters and officers continue to serve the residents and visitors to the Town of Henrietta with the highest levels of distinction.  To ensure that the District can continue to operate as efficiently as possible, the Board of Fire Commissioners will continue to meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise publicized.  If needed, these meetings may be done remotely via tele- or video conferencing under the provisions of the Governor’s Disaster Declaration .  Please keep an eye on our website (www.henriettafire.com), Facebook or Twitter accounts for more details in the coming weeks.
