Assistant Fire Chief

The Assistant Chief of the Henrietta Fire District is a Career position, and is currently responsible for managing the Training and EMS divisions of the fire district. He also is responsible for the firematic operation of the district in the absence of the Fire Chief.

Assistant Chief Mike Dinsmore

Mike lives in Henrietta with his wife Kristie and his two children, Alyssa and Spencer. Mike graduated from Rush-Henrietta Senior High School in 1991, and continued on to earn a degree in fire protection.

 

Mike joined the fire district in 1991 as a volunteer and moved on to the career ranks in 1998. He was promoted to Lieutenant and placed in charge of of Fire Prevention and Safety in 2007, was promoted to Captain in 2019 and Assistant Chief in 2021.

 

When not at work Mike enjoys hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and anything that involves his children.
