District Fire Chief

The Chief of the Henrietta Fire District is a career position and is ultimately responsible for the firematic operation of the Fire District. Some of the duties include: supervises the career and volunteer firefighters and officers, liaison to Town, County and State agencies, assist with budget preparation, grant writing, purchasing, and serves with the Commission on various committees and labor contract negotiations. The Chief is supported by an Assistant Chief and three Battalion Chiefs

Chief Mark Cholach

Mark is a Lifetime resident of Webster, graduating from Webster High School in 1991.

He holds a degrees from both Monroe Community College and RIT, and has extensive emergency services experience, including the Monroe County Fire Bureau where he served as the Fire Training Coordinator and Assistant Fire Coordinator as well as over 25 years with the West Webster Fire District, rising through the rank of Fire Chief.

Currently, Mark is also a Deputy Fire Coordinator for Special Operations with Monroe County, responsible for Technical Rescue and other special incidents. He is nationally certified as a Firefighter, Officer and Instructor and holds NYS certifications as both a Fire and Law Enforcement instructor as well as multiple technical rescue disciplines.

Outside of work Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and children
