The Municipal Training Officer schedules and deploys all training sessions for the district. The training officer ensures that all training requirements are fulfilled by both volunteer and career firefighters.

Damian Hebert has had a long and dedicated career in the fire service, beginning as a volunteer
at the Henrietta Fire District in 1999. Born and raised in Rochester, Damian later moved to
Henrietta. He graduated from Bishop Kearney High School and pursued higher education, first
earning a degree from Monroe Community College (MCC) and later a bachelor’s degree in Fire
Service Administration from Columbia Southern University. Additionally, Damian completed
the Managing Officer Program at the National Fire Academy.

 

Throughout his career, he has built a solid foundation in the fire service, gaining experience as a
Municipal and State Fire Instructor. Today, he leads the training division at The Henrietta Fire
District, where he channels his passion for training by ensuring that fellow firefighters are well-
prepared with state-of-the-art techniques and knowledge. Over the years, Damian has invested in
his own professional development, attending numerous state and federal training classes.

 

Outside of his professional life, Damian enjoys spending time with his family and traveling
